What are the upload times for my digital prints?
Upload times will vary based on several factors, including picture size, your computers Internet connection speed, and network traffic.
Upload size. Uploading many pictures at once can take some time. This is especially true for high-resolution pictures taken with digital cameras having a resolution of 2 mega-pixels or more.
Internet connection speed. Uploads can be done with dial-up modems, or with home broadband connections such as ISDN, cable, and DSL. (Some institutions have faster connections, such as T1 and above.)
Network traffic. The Internet can become congested during business hours. Try uploading during off-peak times, such as early morning or late evening.
The following table will help you estimate the time it might take to upload your pictures.
